MICHAEL BACHMANN, CHAIR

VICE PRESIDENT FOR ENTERPRISE SOLUTIONS, SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH CORPORATION (SRC)

Dr. Michael C. Bachmann joined Scientific Research Corporation (SRC) in October 2015 as the Vice President for Enterprise Solutions where he collaborates and assists SRC Leadership and Business Unit Vice Presidents in advancing strategic planning initiatives and goals.

Prior to joining Industry, Rear Admiral Bachmann served in the United States Navy for more than 35 years in the Aerospace Engineering Duty Officer Community.  Rear Admiral Bachmann’s career culminated in his five year tour as the Commander, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR), a worldwide information technology organization, comprising over 12,000 employees and a budget in excess of $11 Billion.  During this tour, he advanced the Department of Navy’s acquisition of C4ISR, Information Operations, Information Technology, Business, Cyber, and Space systems.  Other supported customers included the White House, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Combatant Commanders, other Services, and a multitude of Governmental agencies.

Admiral Bachmann also served in senior Flag leadership roles at the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR).  Assignments included Commander, Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, NAVAIR Assistant Commander for Test and Evaluation, NAVAIR Assistant Commander for Logistics and Industrial Operations, and Vice Commander, NAVAIR.
